Wooden kitchen accessories
The idea of making oak boards and wooden kitchen accessories came from a single moment — an impulse tied to an illness that unexpectedly entered our lives. The first boards were made about a year and a half after Agnieszka's stroke, as a "canvas" for her creativity. Before she fell ill, she used to paint in her free time.
At first we made 11 boards together. We didn't expect them to be received so warmly, or that they would be the start of something new...
Then, encouraged by friends, they grew into a bigger project. More orders followed, along with new ideas and ever-different forms.
Today we make all our boards from oak. They're made in our free time, without rushing, with great care for detail.
The most demanding stages of production take place in Hajnówka, in the Podlasie region, with the support of our Dad. Ideas for new designs come up spontaneously — there's no fixed catalogue. It often starts from a need, or simply the wish to create something new.
Every piece of wood is different, with its own character and unique grain.
Every board is made from oak and crafted by hand with attention to the smallest details. No two boards are alike! The natural grain pattern makes each board unique, finished with natural oil and sealed with beeswax.
